SiteSight.ie is an Irish SaaS platform that aggregates planning application data from all 31 local authorities in Ireland. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our platform. We are committed to GDPR compliance as an Irish company.
Data we collect
Account information
Your name and email address, collected when you create an account via our authentication provider (Supabase).
Payment information
Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card number or bank details on our servers.
Usage data
Page views, search queries, and feature interactions to help us improve the platform. Collected via Vercel Analytics.
Newsletter sign-ups
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send updates about SiteSight.ie.
Planning data
The planning application data displayed on SiteSight.ie is sourced from publicly available government records published by Ireland's 31 local authorities. This data is public information and does not constitute personal data under GDPR.
How we use your data
Providing the service
To authenticate your account, process payments, and deliver the features you have subscribed to.
Improving the platform
Anonymised usage data helps us understand how SiteSight.ie is used so we can make it better.
Communication
To send transactional emails (account confirmations, payment receipts) and, if opted in, marketing emails.
Cookies
Session cookies
Essential cookies used to keep you logged in and maintain your session. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
Analytics cookies
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised performance and usage data. These cookies help us understand traffic patterns and page performance.
Third-party services
Supabase
Authentication and database hosting. Your account data is stored securely in Supabase infrastructure.
Stripe
Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant privacy policy.
Vercel
Application hosting and analytics. Vercel processes request data to serve the platform and collect anonymised analytics.
Cloudinary
Image hosting and optimisation. Used to serve images across the platform.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for analytical purposes.
Your rights under GDPR

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification
You can ask us to correct any inaccurate personal data.
Erasure
You can request that we delete your personal data.
Portability
You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
